Hi!
Freelance stability comes from business health, and business health lives in your pipeline.
This month, we’re going to be covering the basic best practices when using a CRM. These will help ensure it’s a valuable tool in your business and that you’re always doing a favor to your future self.
BF note: Any
CRM is better than none, but despite having no affiliations, I always recommend HubSpot since it has a free version, tons of integrations and courses, and that it’s a skill you can resell as a freelancer.
Record every
interaction
The real value of a CRM comes when you can’t keep a mental hold on every state of every account you have. (That’s a good place to be.)
There are countless details in any conversation. An interaction that seems trivial today could be priceless tomorrow.
They say it takes 8-12 touches to close a deal and your CRM is
where you make them make sense. Don’t short yourself by brushing off the details.
