This week we’re wrapping up production month, but since we’re riding into the holiday season, it’s a great time to start thinking about what we want our businesses to look like next year.
And I think a great place to start is with what we’re thankful for this year.
It’s been a rough few months. So I think it’s potentially helpful to focus on anything that went “right” in 2020. Not just because it feels good...a lot of the things that went “wrong” in the last several months are going to be major factors as we slide into 2021. That means anything you’re feeling good about? Is likely a clue to
opportunities to make 2021 the best year possible.
For me, my clients have been great, so I’m REALLY digging into making sure I’m clear about my ideal client profile, and incorporating things like the speed they work at, general attitude, flexibility, etc. into questions during the discovery phase.
I’m also happy about the way my income’s been evolving in the last quarter, so I’m pushing the tactics that got me there (a focus on customer marketing, being a strategic asset to my clients, and communicating to teach them that I’m a resource they should be tapping into.)
