We’re moving into a new set of boundaries...this week it’s your work hours.
This one can be really powerful once you get the hang of it. It can have a HUGE payoff that impacts your physical and mental health, your energy levels...it just makes life better in general.
The great thing about getting your work hours in a good place is that it’s a fast track to better sleep hygiene. You know how they say you should go to bed and wake up at the same time every night? Well, I fought with that for YEARS
working a 9-5. It was always a struggle of trying to rush-and-relax. Never really took.
Now though, I end my day at 2:30 and falling asleep by 10 is easy. I’m finally waking up without an alarm and it’s much easier to keep that going through the weekend.
So this next week, try setting a specific time to end work. If you think it’ll be hard, set a “wind down” alarm and see if that helps....and let me know how it goes.
