How often are you talking to your customers? I mean beyond the back-and-forth of projects and scheduling meetings.
How often are you talking with them about the future? About your vision? About everything you can do for them?
This might not come naturally (I know it doesn’t for me), but don’t let that stop you.
Regular communication with your existing customers can help keep your most reliable cash flows going, even when other marketing channels (like word of mouth and cold contacting) aren’t coming through.
I keep track of my “big vision” for all my clients and I’m at a point where I’m going to start sharing that with them once a month.
Think about how you could consider doing something similar, or even your own spin on keeping your relationships healthy. Trust…it’ll pay off more than you think.
