Every month we run through a series of questions to help you run your freelance business like a business—“self-coaching” your way to better results and a better life.
Hey!
Too many freelancers forget about content after the contract gets signed. The reality is though, that there should be a direct connection between the expectations you set with your content and the experience your clients receive.
So for example…
- Do your contract terms reflect things like revisions, communication, and payment policies?
- Do the services mentioned on your site align with what you actually do for clients?
- Does your general content set expectations of how you work?
Giving your clients a consistent end-to-end experience establishes professionalism and justifies higher rates (and a higher-paying category of client). It’s also not all that difficult and just takes a little planning.
If that’s something you want help with, come by the Academy boards and let’s talk it out!
