Hi
,
If a client asks for more than you can handle, do you have turn them down, or do you have a network of people you can connect with to offer your clients even more?
I've been focusing on selling case studies lately (they're honestly fun and pay $500+ per page), but I'm a word person and am awful with visuals. Good online materials NEED to engage on multiple levels, so while I have an existing (and very expensive) designer, I've
found myself recently looking for someone else who can create PDFs and other business-ee materials.
I've also been bringing on work that requires longer pieces and have been wondering if I don't need to start forming relationships with reliable editors (if you know of any, please don't hesitate to pass on the reference.)
What about you? Have you started talking to other freelancers here to expand the services you offer?
Don't wait until a client asks and you're left stumbling for words or turning down work. Check out our
member introduction page (you've got some great people you can connect with here) and
our freelancers available for hire area and say hi. You never know who might end up becoming a great partner in the future.
Megan.
