When you schedule
calls, do you go through nine rounds of email tag? A call to set up a call that ends up leading to another call because they double booked? (I have a client that does this all…the time.)
Recently I’ve heard talk of 2 online scheduling options so I wanted to pass them along to you. While both are pretty fun to play around with and do simplify your life, one of the biggest benefits is that they make you look highly professional and connected as a service provider right
from the start.
What Is Online Scheduling?
Online scheduling allows clients to quickly and easily schedule time with you through a webpage. You begin by selecting the blocks of time you’re available, and are then notified when someone selects a block. This ends the back and forth and allows you to put some limitations around when you are contacted by clients.
The second, I ran into on the
Business of Freelancing podcast and is
Assistant.to. I already signed up for an account but haven’t tried it yet (my clients are kind of old school and get confused by tech…I still can’t get them to use Google Drive) but it’s free and I’ll probably give it a shot soon (in which case I’ll post a review.)
So check them out and if you give them a try, let me know what you think. Have a great rest of your week!
Megan.
P.S.
I’ve been kicking around the idea of setting up a board for product reviews where everybody can post their experiences with different freelancing tools and services, so if you’d be interested, let me know…thanks!
