I send my clients gifts. The best freelance clients are the ones you have relationships with, and every relationship…even business ones…can use an occasional “thank you.”

I usually keep them proportionate to the amount of money they spend. I also normally send them out at the end of November so they get lost in the end of the year shuffle.

I’ve been liking Goldbely gift certificates (since food resonates with almost everybody), but if you know of any Black businesses that would make for good corporate gifts, shoot it over and I’ll let all our Black freelancers know in the next newsletter.
