About a week ago, I started an informal Twitter poll to get a feel for how Black freelancers were using their social accounts.
I wasn't surprised to see that the majority of people who answered actually had social accounts (yay!) but they weren't using them...that got me thinking back to the times I was letting my social accounts sit dormant. For me, every single time, it was because I felt like it was just too
much work on top of all of the other things I needed to take care of for my freelance business.
Thankfully though, that's not true. Social media management solutions (something I'll be talking about more on BlackFreelance.com) mean that I spend minimal time making sure my social accounts are alive and moving.
My question for you is...
What keeps you from using your freelance social accounts if you have
them?
Is it time? Cost? Not knowing what to share? Lack of interest? ...let me know, and have a great week!
