I say that because it’s a time to sit back and really take a look at our lives as freelancers. That means looking at your income, your future career, and most importantly, your
individual well-being.
I did a bit of this myself recently, specifically around my relationship with food and how freelancing has changed it.
You can read about that here.
To really get started keeping an eye on how freelancing is changing
your life, I want to remind you
that every six months, we circle back around to fill out and review our self assessments. Once you’ve done it the first time, it’s simple to work through and is an incredibly valuable tool in keeping perspective on exactly how your choice to freelance is impacting your life. You can access your self assessment in both
spreadsheet and
document form here.
Don’t miss this opportunity to take control of how your freelance career progresses. When you’re done, don’t forget to
come let us know in the forums!
Blog Inspiration
When was the last time you reminded
your clients and your market of how beneficial your work can be to them?
Take this week to write a post on how the service you provide benefits them, or even examples in your industry of organizations who have used services like yours (they don’t have to be your clients) to really improve their business.
