First off, I want to thank you for being a part of this community. Freelancing is just starting to really gel with us, and your presence here is helping to shape something big.
One of my main goals around here is optics--making sure that people see that Black people freelance, that we’re doing it well, and that we do it in our own way, for our own reasons, and that it builds lifestyles that fit us specifically--that’s why
I’m opening up the doors for our Academy members to be featured on the BlackFreelance blog. I believe that any of us that wants to become an authority specifically in their kind of freelancing, can do that, and that this is a great way for us to get started.
If you’re interested, I’ll send you a few questions to answer about yourself and your freelance journey and business. It doesn’t matter what stage you’re at, someone out there will be inspired by your story and the
progress you’ve made as a freelancer. So, if you’d like to show up on the blog, just reply to this email and I’ll shoot your questions over.
Hope to hear from you!
Megan.
