Sometimes, especially if you’re new, it’s easy for your freelance efforts to feel kinda… lightweight. If you feel that way, know that it’s all in your head.

Freelancing is growing and every day, people are taking it more seriously. Take Upwork for example. They just released their first quarterly update of fast-growing freelance skills. Based on the industry reaction, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t start to offer even more information as freelancing becomes an even more important career choice.

Freelancing is just as legitimate as any employed career path.
