I kinda knew this would happen, but I’m having to back off this project for a bit. The response I got on Project $70K worked just a bit too well and I’ve hit my limit (which wasn’t very high, considering I wasn’t working with a blank client slate). I’ve capped out my client space, likely for the next year.

The combination of targeting companies with dead blogs and starting that conversation with a simple product got great response, and a couple of clients signed on for pretty heavy work.

I want to keep this going for you though, because I think this strategy will be super useful for freelancers trying to push their businesses to the next level, or even just create more predictable income. That’s why I’m going to be working with the same strategy in a couple of different industries to see how it works out for other people doing other types of work.

In the meantime, I want to ask if you have any questions--about figuring out a simple product, who to contact, templates, anything you can think of. Your questions will be highly helpful in building out a program that everyone in the BlackFreelance community can learn from and grow with.
