I push content marketing a lot around here because first, it works, but also because it’s a tool you can’t afford to ignore if you’re doing business online.
You might know it, but I’m certified as a content marketer
through CopyBlogger (that’s me
with my office-hair on under Niche Writers)…their program is great and I recommend it to anyone looking to learn a skill to sell as a freelancer, or, more importantly sell their own freelance services.
There’s always more out there though.
I’m 60% of the way in and…HubSpot’s content marketing course is very different. Where CopyBlogger’s program focuses more on writing and creation, HubSpot is more about strategy. I’d say it’s a more advanced
program (targeted to people who’ve bought their platform). It’s free though, and definitely something I’m going to brag about once I complete it (companies who use HubSpot generally have more money and will lean toward someone who already understands their platform and approach.)
If you want to talk about how the certification’s going for you (or have any questions), come hang out in the forums
here.
Megan.
