Hi
One of the biggest changes in my freelance career came in a group coaching session where I ended up flat out embarrassed.
Our coach asked what the income of the companies I was targeting was, and I said "kinda high...a minimum of a million annually."
"That's way too low."
I was thrown. I had an MBA and was completely aware of just how much higher
I could have been aiming, but I just...wasn't. Instead of following what I knew was the potential in my market, I was looking at numbers that felt big to me as a baby freelancer. I was looking at clients from my own perspective, instead of the reality of what was going on in my niche.
So my question to you is, could you aim higher? (The answer is yes.) If so, what do you think you'd need to feel better about doing that? (more
training, help finding those clients, a better portfolio?) Answer to yourself, or shoot me a response.
Megan.
