If there's anything freelancing makes you genuinely face, it's that nothing, from traditional employment to slumps, to your best clients, lasts forever.

That's why personally, as well as my ACA/Obamacare plan has worked, I'm not counting on it surviving the coming U.S. administration and have started looking for other options.

Sitting at the top of my list was Freelancer's Union's coverage options. Last night on Twitter though, one of my followers sent me a link to some reviews. Between the 1 star and the comments it's really sounding no better than private insurance (you'll see a couple people saying exactly that.)

Just an FYI as you figure out your options. If I run across anything better, I'll let you know. Right now, I'm thinking private insurance is going to have to be my post-ACA solution.
