If you're interested in writing for Travel Noir, I have some
additional information from Stef. Most importantly, I found out the position isn't paid.
I don't recommend unpaid work, but if you're looking to break into travel and need to build a portfolio, small to moderate credited work might be worth it. (I'd stay away from any writing for the site itself. That should be paid and can be difficult to build a portfolio on.)
We're currently in need
of writers for our Travel Stories, Events, and Blog sections of our platform as well some needed copy around the site.
The Travel Stories will consist of stories of trips you've taken, places you've lived, cool experiences while traveling, etc.
Our Events section will be small write ups
about various events (festivals, conferences, sporting events, etc.) happening around the U.S. and around the world. It helps if you're familiar with them, have attended them before, or are just genuinely interested in them.
And our Blog section will feature travel tips, best places to go, and all around lifestyle
stuff.
