You might have seen it, but about a week ago I
shared an opening working with Staples on content that helped office managers do their jobs better. It paid $150 an article (from what I remember). The kicker? You had to have samples of work you’d done before on that topic.
That’s a great example of two really important freelance truths…
…that even topics you think are boring or mediocre are important to someone (even someone with deep pockets) but more importantly, businesses want to see that
you’re taking initiative and not waiting on them to tell you what to do.
