It can be challenging to find stability as freelancer, but keeping an eye on your niche and which way it’s headed can do a lot to keep you riding profitable waves. That’s why this week I’m going to ask you a question about growth.
What is your niche (or niches), and is it growing, shrinking, or stable? Why do you think that?
My niche is healthcare. Every couple of weeks I see a new
article about new companies jumping into the industry, new developments, and the need for more professionals. Even if I don’t know the actual numbers, I’ve got a good sense that my niche is getting larger by the day.
What about yours? What kind of changes do you see? Are there new businesses popping up? More freelancers getting into the game? News that indicates more startups are getting involved?
If not, you might be stable, or even shrinking.
