Hit up hiring managers! If you see a company advertising an employed position that aligns with your freelance services, don’t be shy about contacting the hiring manager directly and pitching your work. They might be open to considering a different type of relationship.
Master Your Marketing
Stop waiting for a niche or platform to grow into you. If you’ve spent more than 6 months knocking on one kind of door and are only seeing meager results, it’s time to either move on, or cut way back on the time you’re dedicating to it. Respect your own time.

Upwork: I’m not sure what’s going on but there are a ton of Facebook and Google ad gigs popping up on Upwork right now. (There’s also packaging design, Android dev, and a pencil sketch artwork gig up too though.)

Guru: Lots of logo work on Guru this week…beauty salon, general business, and something called ChapterChimp.
