Are you practicing your business blogging?

Serious question. This stuff doesn’t’ just come overnight. Even after years of working in business and even writing about it for a couple of publications, learning how to actually blog for business took me some time.

I started by reworking basic business news the way you see it in trade mags (here’s an example). From there I started writing my opinion on hews in my niche, doing interviews and finally, writing my own advice.

You don’t have to follow that path, but if you’re having issues getting started on writing for your business, might help get you started. (And if you’re a writer or content marketer, that’s a great way to get some samples of the work you can do.)
