If you keep up with the entrepreneurial world you might’ve noticed a little shift in the way a lot of people talk about business.
There’s not as much focus on pure money and status and lately we’ve been hearing tiny whispers of something really important that I think opens the door of business opportunity to a lot more people — building a business that fits with your life.
No more chasing somebody else’s standards or income goals. No more getting into a certain kind of business because you think it’s something you should be doing. No more investing in a business that owns you.
Now, people are shifting toward business models that support and enrich lives. That’s what I hope you’re doing and why this week’s question is…
Are you happy? Is freelancing making your life better?
Now, if you’re not happy with your business,
don’t feel bad.
I spent a more time that I wanted not just not being happy, but being terrified, stressed, and wondering if I was going to be ok. Especially at the beginning of your freelance journey, you might not
be happy. What matters is that you feel like you’ve got good habits, that those habits are taking you somewhere, and that that direction is one you want to go.
So let me know…
Megan
