One of last week’s questions brought up a couple of really important points around improvement and content marketing…
- Do I need to be better?
- How do I get better?
First off “good” is HIGHLY relative in content marketing.
Let me say that again.
“GOOD” (look at those quotes)…is RELATIVE.
I always tell people about how I write for brands like HP who love my work, but still get shot
down by tiny companies around the corner…before we even talk price! It’s not because I’m bad or good, it’s just that my style (which I can honestly vary a lot) isn’t a good fit.
Content marketing is as much about sitting down and listening to what people consider “good” (or effective) as it is about improving.
That
said, if you do feel like you just want to get better, CopyHackers has a ton of information on the process, and as usual, Copyblogger is great for strategy.
