Last week we talked about painting a really clear picture around how you want money to change your life.
You’ve got that picture, so this week, we’re going to turn it into a dollar amount.
How much is that yearly vacation, that extra savings, that college tuition, or that money sent home to family?
Even if it’s not precise, do the math. Use pen and paper if you have to.
Is it $500 a month? $2,000 a year? $7,000 a month? $12,000? Don’t be conservative. Don’t hold back. Don’t let fear and past underpayment shave your number down. Be honest until you get to a number you can feel.
Answer that and absorb that number. Really think about how your life would change if you had that coming in.
Now, write it down. Next week, we’ll be working with it again.
