I just finished what might be the best white paper so far.

 

It was fun, took about 3 half days of work, had few revisions, and at $1.25 per word, the length means a really nice hourly average rate. You know the best part though?

 

It was fun.

 

The topic was a little dry, but I worked in references to Queen through the whole thing. (I chose Queen because the target audience is mostly middle-aged white men.) The client loved it. More importantly, I had a blast writing it.

 

While every piece can’t be the most fun ever, you should aim to make sure everybody’s having a little fun with what you create and what you put out there.
