I’ve noticed something interesting in the last few months.
I started following Copyblogger to learn content marketing back around 2012. Since going full-time freelance, I’ve studied its intersection with SEO, online advertising, and newer developments like account-based marketing.
Well, the last few clients I’ve talked to have directly and proactively asked for my advice as a content marketer. These are people with senior-level titles and degrees from ivy league schools.
What does that mean? It means that content marketing is a specialty, and one that even established, educated, people who are responsible for huge marketing initiatives need support with.
Make sure you’re taking it seriously.
Megan
P.S. Just in case you hadn’t heard, Google now lets you schedule emails (and is doing a bunch of other stuff too).
