I’ve been trying to up my strategy game for my clients and honestly, I’ve been running into some issues.
To turn things around, I picked up some books (Blinks actually, because I already have too many business books) on strategy. One covered the dance between Microsoft and Apple back in the 90s-00s and suggested looking to them for inspiration — and that’s when it hit me.
I don’t have to come up with every strategy from scratch. I can look at what was successful in other industries and other niches and then change and translate them into something that fits my clients’ needs.
Never forget that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time. Inspiration is everywhere.
