I use this technique for almost all my clients — not so much straight copying what they’re doing, but looking at their strategy, breaking it down, and seeing what elements you might have a reason to pick up.

- Review top-performing content
- Identify the best keywords to target
- Attend a competitor’s webinars
- Monitor changes to a competitor’s site
