I write for a few major brands on a couple of platforms (Skyword and Contently) and in the last few years, I’ve seen quite a few of those brands cancel their programs…and I think I know why.
They step into content and keep things entirely too general. General works sometimes, but with all the noise out here, being specific is a better idea.
The easiest way to get specific with content is to write to one, maybe two personas at a time. Anything else, and people are likely to tune you out as just making more noise.
