We’ve all been hit with some unexpected challenges lately. These are the exact times that financial padding makes the most difference for freelancers. It’s not just “nice to have.” It can help you calm your mind and make better decisions when those decisions matter the most.
If you have any extra income right now, or room to cut expenses, and don’t have 3-6 months of emergency funds stored up, now is a good time to get into the habit of living by a budget and setting aside any extra that you don’t have.
